CONSULTING TO INDUSTRY : LOWERING THE BAR? I have an offer from industry, moving to Europe (Scandinavia), but I'm getting the feeling that I'll be devaluing or losing my standard, because the role is naturally not that dynamic as in consulting. Am I thinking right? Or am I thinking too much? Current 9 yoe in solid Tech & Management Consulting in India.

What is total comp like at Oracle for a Presales Cloud Enterprise Architect role? Is something like 175k base salary and breaking 200k with bonus/rsu a reasonable opening number in negotiations? I know what AWS and Google pay but its harder to track down data for Oracle.

Interview advice - How to overcome your prior experience not being 1:1 with the potential role responsibilities (it’s a very niche role) ?

Did a round of brand side interviews with a senior level team and want to write a thank you note that doesn’t come across too thirsty. What would a senior person appreciate in a note if they got one? They have all been there 10 plus years. Just thank for their times and reiterate what value I can bring to the role? Agency side is so lax I haven’t had to write one my last few jobs 😓

Currently in a full time role at an RPO but have a potential offer in house on a 6-9 month contract with strong possibility of conversion at Hubspot. Pay is $15k higher than I make now. A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn about an open remote EA role at his company. Fast forward, the recruiter tells me that leadership now wanted an EA that was in-person. I’m disappointed bc I wasn’t even looking for a new role when he reached out and was excited about the possible new opportunity. Has anyone successfully countered a company’s decision with reasons why a remote EA works just as well as an in-person one?

Is anybody else having a really difficult time hiring for employees to work in the office full-time? My boss is against working remotely or offering a hybrid option. I’ve never had such a hard time filling roles. This includes finding a new in-house recruiter.
