Realistic exits from Houlihan or A&M FDD? On par with Big 4, or are these firms more of a (well-paid) destination for FDD lifers instead of a stepping stone to industry? Houlihan Lokey, Alvarez & Marsal
Anyone familiar with the Operational Excellence & Transformation department at Truist? They seem to be on a hiring spree. Prior to applying I want to know if it's a good jump from consulting/how they are viewed by other consultants. Currently a SA at a Big 4 with 4 YOE.
What about the religious exemption? Who is eligible to claim it, and under what circumstances is the claim likely to be accepted? The short answer is: almost anyone can claim it, but not many will receive it. https://www.govexec.com/management/2021/09/how-will-religious-exemption-federal-employee-covid-19-vaccine-mandate-work/185572/
I know the UK pays less but I am seeing differences of $80-100k for Advisory M at one of the Big 4. Why in the world are salaries so low? And don’t say healthcare. My healthcare is like $140/month for a PPO w low deductible. Plus taxes are less here. Makes the thought of a potential move over there hard :/
What is your Remote work experience, Coronavirus Work-Life seems to have changed the way we work impactfully
Moved to Atlanta about a year ago and haven’t been able to build my social circle yet. With Covid it hasn’t helped as well. Indian born desi, I am F and happily married! Would love to meet some like minded individuals. Looking forward to making some friends :)
I turned down a bunch of jobs because they seem to be the same as pre covid. And honestly I don’t want to go back to the grind/ stress/ commute. And then they say people don’t want to work. Ummm people don’t want to slave themselves while you line your pockets thank you very much

Does anyone at McKinsey have product management or Data Analytics opportunities? Manager at Big 4 and want to also understand what level I should aim at?McKinsey & Company
Jumping around big 4 for promotions, worth it?
Been working midsize for 9 months. I really want to go up to the big 4… 1) is it too early to leave? 2) Is it too late to apply? I’m on the east coast. Preferably NY/NJ if anyone can reference. 3) how do I explain to the recruiter why I’m leaving so early?
Sometimes it hurts to think about how well I know some airports. What terminals/airports were you frequenting before covid?
“OSHA will not enforce 29 CFR 1904’s recording requirements to require any employers to record worker side effects from COVID-19 vaccination.” That’s nice.
When is it best to leave big 4 Investment/Financial Services tax in terms of years/level?
Any recommendations for good Personal Finance help books (investing, 401k, passive income) for beginners? Thank you in advance!!
Anyone in Accenture sales and price performance group? They reached out and I really just want to understand if this is a good opportunity to pursue. Seems like internal sales support, but they said salary is higher than my current comp. I’ve never heard of it and would like to speak to anyone with experience! Thank you
Received an offer from Deloitte in NYC as a Advisory Tech Assurance Senior Consultant. They are offering 100k base plus 10k signing bonus. Is this on par with what most are offered for this location and position?
Please vote for which you’d realistically / actually want (and why). Context is mid-30s for me, FYI. Either a) $800k total comp, but work 70-80 hrs a week and content / work you genuinely don’t care about, b) $500k and work you care about / want to do long term but still working ~70 hrs/wk, c) $300-350k work you care about and want to do long term, working 25-40 hrs/wk (so plenty of time for other hobbies, fam, etc). In all 3 (a,b,c) you’re not allowed to have another income stream / side gig.
Wanted to get opinion from community. Should I continue as EY FAAS manager M2 (120k) or take job as an assistant controller with biotech for 170k plus bonus and stock? Assistant Controller job would require me to be in office few days a week (about hour and half commute one way) whereas faas is remote for foreseeable future. I also don't know way to get promoted to FAAS senior manager ( m3-> senior manager?). I also don't know FAAS SM salary.
Thinking of exiting to Salesforce, competitive programs role. Any insight here on pay (including shares), wlb, type of work, career progression, culture? UK based but appreciate any insight. Thanks
My firm just started the recruitment process for my I140 application. How long does it take until my I140 gets approved? Is it worth switching jobs right now for a double salary?
Hey Big 4, has PWC, EY, and Deloitte committed to a "no travel until Jan 1" comment yet?
Client trusts me. Confided in me that they are planning to shitcan the person I interface with weekly/daily. I feel for the soon-to-be unemployed...then again, they won't make life hell for me anymore
Genpact reached out to me for an executive role within supply chain. Role seems remote ..any thoughts on working within genpact ? what kind of work is done, how are the hours, how are the clients and coworkers ? thank u !

My firm is giving out surprise mid year bonuses to associates hitting the prorated annual bonus cutoff. I had a major injury for which I worked through treatments for about 3 months Jan-March. I didn’t take any time off, but I did set hard boundaries to make it to PT and medical appointments and not overwhelm myself. I’m off by 50+ hours to the target to receive bonus. Do I say something about being ineligible for the bonus or let it slide since it’s a big gap?
What if I reject offer of cuz company? Can I attend interview again in same organization or they will blacklist me for forever?
Anybody attended interview in Tyson foods Bangalore. Today I have 3rd round, already completed 2 technical rounds. Hr told it will be with director. If anybody aware about this round, Please answer whether it is tech or non-tech round
Can anybody explain why LGA consistently is the most delayed airport in the US? Looking for any actual educational information. Couldn't find much on Google.
Over the last year I’ve had 4 separate interview cycles where after the final round I’ve gotten “you had all strong feedback but the team went with the other candidate.” It’s really insulting to hear these companies say that there isn’t enough qualified black candidates but have your own experience show you that you can do everything right but still you don’t get the offer due to not looking the part I guess
