Are you tired of the agency life?
Digital interview process ?
Have you tried modafinil? It is what the army prescribes for anti-fatigue.
I would also echo the guy below then - you should consider getting tested for sleep apnea.
Have you gone thru a sleep study? You may not be getting the right amount of oxygen/rest when you sleep at night (even though you think you are sleeping 7-8hrs) and your daytime sleepiness is a result. You may have sleep apnea. I would ask your doctor.
I have not, but dont suffer from daytime sleepiness. Several friends have, though, and being diagnosed with sleep apnea (and getting a machine) totally changed their lives. There isnt a downside to getting tested. Worse case: you'll have ruled out sleep apnea as a cause, and you can keep researching. But get your dr involved now. Sleep is crucially important to your health.
Get checked for sleep apnea - you might not been getting enough sleep in the night.
Also check iron! My iron levels fluctuate and I can always tell when they’re low - I can’t stay awake in the afternoon even after doing “nothing”.
Rising Star
- check sleep
- check diet (carbs or overeating can make you fatigued)
- check exercise - actually helps with energy
- check bloodwork - May be vitamin deficiencies
- check eyesight - in need of correction combined with computer work is not a good combo
- check depression
Can be any of one or more of the above 🤷♀️
I always check off easy stuff first and then go to Dr. but you may want to start with Dr and bloodwork first.
