Where do those PPEs end up after use? Landfills? Rivers? The Ocean? I remember seeing images of fish and turtles with straws sticking through them before COVID. I can't imagine those plastic gloves and masks being helpful, especially in low income countries they don't have the ability to do mass cleanups.

I have received an offer as SD1 at Amazon Gurgaon. I have 1 yr and 6 months of experience. I did my BTech in computer science from 2016-20. I had some active backlogs as well. Due to covid, many exams were not conducted and as for the ones that did happen, the results are taking forever to come. Right now I have one backlog and the result is yet to be announced. I am positive I will pass. Will this affect my offer from Amazon during background check as I am yet to receive degree?

So Covid incentive payments have finally reach my “big law” Midwest firm. We are non cravath and bonuses have generally sucked but this year they’ve basically doubled the bonus structure which is, yes, totally incentivizing me differently. I’m currently on pace for 1950, but if I average 44 hours a week for the rest of the year, I can make 2150, which would give me an after tax bonus of about $30k or enough to pay off the worst of my loans. Worth it?

The worst creative I’ve ever worked with was just hired by W+K. Never made any decent work. Didn’t care about the work.
