Personally, I would avoid Korea due to recent outbreak, and be cautious about Japan and Italy. Definitely not going to China in a while.

My brother just got back from a work trip there and he said 100% of people are in face masks with loud announcements to do so on train platforms, etc. Sounds a bit scary to me... most (all?) business we do can wait...
Honestly, actually getting sick is a low concern for me, but what would concern me is the probability of getting your flight cancelled or forced into quarantine upon return
Is your firm actually letting you consider this? PwC has already said no travel to most of the countries in SE Asia, even areas hardly hit
It’s not the plane tickets that are the problem, it’s a group tour company so everything is prepaid and they aren’t allowing any refunds or rebooking unless the government officially closes travel to the country I’m visiting
Update guys, I have officially cancelled my travel. Thanks for everyone’s insights, I’ll look to make the travel next year. Hope everyone who is traveling globally stays safe!

I don’t understand what the point of this article is - it basically just says everything is kind of ok right now but everything could go to shit overnight if things get worse. Am I missing something?
My family and relatives are in Korea. From what I've heard, I would definitely stay away and any countries in close approximation to China, I would do the same. I am even staying off international airports for the time being...
