Me and my husband were planning to start trying to have a baby from next month. With this COViD-19 situation right now we are thinking of we should wait for few more months and see if the situation gets under control. Data related to CoViD -19 in pregnant women and new burns is very limited. Plus hospital visit during pregnancy and having family around to help out may be challenging if CoViD -19 lingers longer than expected. I am 34 and hubby is 37 body clock is ticking as well - tough decision.

How is the city doing mask-wise? Just got back from FL where Covid doesn’t seem to exist anymore and I’m taken aback by all the masking around the city still (particularly outdoors).

This might be a stupid question but... I haven’t been able to get a haircut due to covid restrictions in my city. All are closed and have been for over 2 months, my hair is a disaster and I have 2x mbb interviews coming up. I have 2 options really, shave the head (I’m ok with that) just leave as is and make a joke about it. I’m worried it’s going to look unprofessional the way my hair is now because it’s “unkept”. Am I being worried for no reason?

MIL had symptoms beginning 12/13 and tested positive for Covid. She wants us to come over on the 25th regardless of if she still tests positive or not because it’s out of the 10 day window and she could “test positive for a while.” It’s only her and my FIL in the house and he is showing no symptoms. Partners - I'm (SM5) an introvert and struggle to connect with people sometimes. Especially when I don't see them much (thanks covid) and don't work with them much. I want to build connections with like VP finance or the CFO on my job but I work mostly with the controllers (whom I have good connections with). I find it awkward to call people who I don't work directly much without out of the blue to do coffee or lunch.

Any tips or advice on how to build these connections? Any podcast or books

Advice on how to correct employee without hurting their feelings? Emp is making constant and repetitive errors. I am not cruel, not yelling, not name calling, nothing like that, but I am short and to the point, no fluff. “Why did/didn’t you do this?”, “This needs to be fixed now”. I expect things to be done right and on time without me having to constantly double check or monitor them. Employee is complaining that I’m hurting their feelings.
