Advice for staying focused while WFH with kids? I’m a new dad to twins and I find myself working late to make up for being distracted by them during the day. I WFH exclusively. I am a junior biglaw lit associate who is extremely extroverted. Unfortunately, I’m realizing that so far litigation hasn’t been as great for extroverts as advertised. Is this just the nature of being a junior attorney in any practice anywhere? Are there specific specialties within litigation that extroverts particularly enjoy? I generally like what I do but working crazy hours in mostly isolation doesn’t seem sustainable long term for my personality type.

Can’t decide if I’m being ghosted by a partner or if I’m just reading into it. Had a good discussion about a matter that we wrapped up and then I went on vacation. I came from a smaller firm where I was very much encouraged to come into my own and I feel that that is strongly discouraged at my new firm. Instead of exploring style, I very much am coached that something must be done a certain way and something about my work is always wrong. Anyone else?
