I am a M2 at B4 FDD and don’t know how long i’ll be genuinely interested in this work. Currently debating rotating into a B4 IB associate role for a year or two, then moving to PE. Is this a reasonable move? Perspective. I’m retiring from the service and I’ve positioned myself decently to be competitive. I have a graduate degree pursuing a doctorate, LSSBB, ScrumMaster, SPHR, and PMI-ACP. I’ve been offered two positions that are great and on the human capital team. For someone in this situation where should I be looking as commensurate with my certifications and experience?

Should I apply to 2 year clerkship as a 2nd year associate? I’m putting my apps together for clerkship positions at the moment. I know that, if I land anything, it wouldn’t start until 2022 or 2023. At that point I’ll be a 3rd or 4th year. I really don’t mind a 1 year clerkship because I love litigating, but would a 2 year clerkship be the wrong move here? I may be a 5th or 6th year when I’m done with it. Any thoughts?

Client wants to set up an LLC where a President gets 25% of the membership interests but contributes no capital other than his services. Governance is supposed to be handled by the vote of the members based on percentage ownership.
