What does the progression track look like for post-mba consultants at MBB? Specifically, are there notable differences in promotion timing amongst the firms? I’ve noticed on LinkedIn that several BCGers have reached principal level in 3.5 years (2 as consultant, 1.5 as PL) whereas it seems to take a minimum of 4 years but sometimes even 5 for McK to reach AP level (which I believe is the equivalent?) Is this an accurate assessment?

Looking at getting LASIK done and just interested in any experiences / advice / things you would’ve liked to have known?
For context, I’m 27, healthy eyes, about -2 vision which I wear glasses for (contacts just do not agree with my eyes), rationale for LASIK is because I’m very athletic and I can’t work with contacts! Also figure now is a good age to do so.
