Could someone please explain what kind of work EY's PI-FM practice does? All reg work?

PI-FM does tend to have less opportunities to include Staff on engagements, however there are exceptions, e.g., there are a number of BAP on a PI-FM engagement at a large bank in Charlotte. Getting involved in a PI-FM campaign is a way you can learn about the practice and the type of work they do without having to be on an engagement. Reach out to a member of the PI-FM practice and ask how you can get involved.

Pretty much all reg work if its FSO. They were supposed to do FInance Transformation work.

So glad I avoided EY FSO and IBM GBS 🙏🏽

OP why not reach out to someone in the practice and ask someone who knows? People generally are straight shooters and would be happy to chat.

Kinda feel burned by having been sold the BAP as a "rotational program" so I don't really know who to trust. I'm interested in the finance function but I don't enjoy doing the seemingly mindless regulatory compliance under Dodd frank that is likely to disappear under current POTUS. And definitely am not interested in any "subledger implementations".

And in FSO if the above did not make that clear

BAP = rotational. Trollololol 😂 it sure is...if you want an extra year at Staff.

Hello! Looking for some help regarding compensation in product management. I joined my tech/e-commerce software company in very early stages… I’ve always been interested in product management and after 5 years I now have an opportunity to start in a PM role. I’ve been a sales engineer and functional consultant and I’m wondering what sort of compensation I should be asking for. I have no product management experience but I’m very familiar with the product and market already. Any help welcomed!

Just transferred from IT Audit to Strategy and Transactions. Been a goal of mine for a while so I’m happy to see it play out. Not posting just to say I did it, but because I’ve been following this bowl for a while and see people get negative about being pigeon holed. There were tons of transferable skills that I was able to highlight that got a role that’s completely different, so I just don’t want anyone feeling discouraged if they’re hitting walls.
