If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.
What’s the higher band salary range in US (any region) for a 9+ Years experienced guy in Modern Data Stack who’s currently working as Senior Solution Architect (Data) in India? Considering he’s a top performer and highly skilled and super talented candidate. To get a picture on the ballpark number. Snowflake Inc. Google Amazon Amazon Web Services Microsoft Netflix

In 6-7 months?
Well coming out of Consulting and assuming you are on a partner track in 6-7 months they better come up with a better package. Did they give you any idea how much you will be making? Bcz I will be accepting an offer from another big four with 40% salary bump. All Bcz of this new law
New law in New York at least, cannot ask previous comp
I’m scared to leave and think I’ll make PPMD in 6-7 if I stay. I need to get the greatest offer ever to cut the cord.
They never asked you for previous salary did they? Because that’s the new law
No, but I wouldn’t tell them up front anyway. That’s showing half your hand.
6-7 years lol
No comp discussion at all. Initial interviews then final round and cases. They said they want to move forward with an offer and will have me sync up with the hiring VP again to “take my pulse” before the offer
Are a manager at D?
Technically being promoted to SM
VP at bank makes around 175-195k with 20% bonus. I know a VP makes 180k and he has no one reports to him. He has a pretty chilled 9-5 job
What new law?
I know some bank’s have VP’s similar to Manager level at Big 4, but this one’s VPs are more like Director level, 10-15 years experience with elite MBAs
@EY1 not sure if it’s a new law or just something EY is doing
Yep^
The law applies to California too and many other states are considering it. They cannot ask for previous salary as it amplifies salary gaps specially for diverse groups and minorities
Yes Massachusetts was the first state to implement then last year October was go live. The law stem from the idea when a man and woman does same type of work and woman makes a lot lower salary than man. Like C1 said law prohibits employers to ask previous salary.
