I am going to Marina Del Rey, CA for pleasure on points. I have stayed at the Marriott for business and it is very nice but the Ritz is the same number of points. Is the Ritz nicer?

Why do we accept it as normal for recruiters using an army of compensation directors and market research to negotiate against junior creatives with 10 year old laptops?

Do recruiters think this is the best method? I’m lucky to be at a point in my career where i have some choice in which recruiters/agencies i want to work with and I can tell you 100% of the time i go with whoever offers clarity. I simply don’t bother with the recruiters who are vague / refuse to be transparent about budgets.

Please help me with this. I have two offers in 1 offer I have basic salary as 9.75L annually but overall package is of 21LPA.
In another one base salary is 7.4L but overall package is of 25LPA.
Why base varies ? Lower the base lower pf , gratuity and HRA but does it matter too much in this case?

Is it detrimental (as a male consultant) to be very good looking? I’ve heard conflicting theories on this... some people say it obviously help and some others say we are seen as a threat by other men
