I graduated with a degree in Business in 2018. I’m planning to pursue a Masters in Engineering (likely will pair with MBA) and have been taking the required pre-reqs over the last year from community college.

Is there a big difference between MEng and MS degrees? Or about the same?

I started off looking in going into Mechanical Eng but now looking more into Civil & Environmental.

Looking for input . My company's policy has always been to pay out on rollover PTO when you leave the company. My last day was Jan 8th, and I had 10 days from 2020 I was supposed to be paid on. I talk to my manager and a VP in HR, and they both confirmed I would be paid on the PTO in my Jan 15th paycheck. However, I was not paid and when I emailed about it I was told there was a PTO policy change in April of 2020 and the company no longer pays on carry over PTO...

How long is too long?
I’m at the end of a recruiting process that includes 5 interviews and a take-home assessment, all of which went well. That was 18 days ago. The HR rep was on vacation and came back 6 days ago. She told me she was going to meet with the CD to regroup 5 days ago. I still haven’t heard anything. Is this normal?

I interviewed for a role last week and followed up with the recruiter this week. The recruiter said the team is still working on finishing the final interviews before making a decision but if I have any competing offers or timeline issues, I should let her know.

Does this mean that they already have a decision on my interview and are just waiting to send out the rejects all together or is there still hope?

I’m interviewing for jobs that would essentially lead to a minor career pivot. I have gotten to 4 straight final rounds (4-5 interviews and a presentation for each company) to be told I’m second choice in favor of someone with more experience. I’m losing my mind and so tired of interviewing tbh. What can I do differently, or do I just need to chill out and wait for a company to say yes?

I messed up my screenshare in a meeting with 2 colleagues and showed my personal email that had scheduling info for my onsite interviews with another company. I closed it but it was up long enough for them to see it. Now they both pretend like they saw nothing and I felt panic for some reason. How were your experiences when letting it out the bag early like that?

I finished the recruiter, and hiring manager interviews, both went very well. The hiring manager wants to fly me to their location to “show me the site” but I haven’t heard back for almost a week.
When I let the recruiter know I had other opportunities and needed an update, they said they were finalizing getting the panel together, so it sounds like a group interview.

Just finished the last of FIVE video interviews for a new position and have to share a tip that helped me every step of the way: taping talking points to the wall right above my screen. I carefully considered my answers to the top ~4 questions I thought they might ask and wrote large bullet points for myself. It kept me on track, focused, and eloquent. Highly recommended for anyone else doing video interviews!

Can anyone tell me what's up with the CVS Health Digital Product Owner positions? I'm too embarrassed to say how many of these positions I have applied to - but it's a lot.

I have an interview coming up with Church & Dwight. When the recruiter emailed me with 3 interview times I thought he was asking me what time works best. Turns out he was telling me I was scheduled for 3 different interviews for 3 different teams in one day. Has anyone heard of a company doing that or gone through this for an interview? I checked their LinkedIn feed today, and I saw they made a post TODAY(Friday) that they are still looking for the role I'm applying. I found it a bit rude and disappointing. Is this normal? Or am I overthinking it?
