Ford Expedition 2019/2020 limited trim level. It’s loaded with the latest safety and other features plus you can use 87 regular gas. It’s got eco boost engine. I have four kids and it’s got plenty of room for everyone. I got the captain seats so kids can easily go to the third row. Best truck I have owned!

Don’t own one but have driven them multiple times and they are awesome cars if you have a family. It’s like a house in there.

No Ram 1500 on the list? Absolutely love my 2019, but do admit its gas engines pale in comparison to the Ford and Chevy/GMC gas engines. I prefer it over the others for everything else though, hands down. All that said, I'm looking at trading up to a Ram 2500/3500 in a year or two, once they get the new body and transmission.

Yeah, gas engines are Ram's weak point. Still think the interior is light years better than the GM twins, and while the 2021 F150 looks like it closed the gap a bit, I still put the Ram in the clear. I'm brand agnostic (test drove all the 1500/150 models and had a F150 order lined up before the 5th gen Ram came out), but think at least for my purposes Ram is definitely the one to beat for everything but the gas engines.

Ford Bronco is looking nice, if you’re looking at a grand Cherokee, definitely worth checking out the 4Runner and/or the 1794 Tundra ($$$ but 😍😍😍)

Just in case you need to hear it again - get a 4Runner. The 2020 update was much needed and makes it an obvious choice.

Bad experience?

The Broncos are the cool shines objects. However at the end of the day, they will have the reliability of a Ford. Get a FourRunner. Mine has 100k miles, likely 200 trips up an down the hill to ski and a lot of miles on rough Jeep trails. Love it. My next car will be a FourRunner

FiveRunner is where it's at, so much better than the measley FourRunner! The 4Runner is legit, though, but it is long overdue for a redesign.

Huge difference between a full size truck and a Jeep GC/Toyota 4Runner. What is important to you in your next vehicle- space, fuel economy, creature comforts, typical use for the car, the list goes on. In a vacuum, hard to give a worthy recommendation outside of aesthetics - also design tastes are fairly subjective FWIW, I was in a 4Runner about 3 years ago. I wasn’t impressed by the interior and the car burned through gas

like

2020 4Runner gets a new infotainment system to help with its terrible interior. Gas is 1.80 a gallon and if you’re commute is usually on a plane mpg shouldn’t be an issue.

BMW X5. You work too hard to be in a 4Runner. Sorry not sorry.

I work too hard to blow my money on a car that’s only gonna give me headaches. Had a 335, car was amazing, but I refuse to refer pay bmw another penny. The 335 couldn’t even make it to 70k miles. My 4runner? At 120k and drives like it’s brand new.

I honestly have no idea why you criteria is - will you ever to off roading?

Nothing like rock crawling, but yes I like to go to the mountains/trails and to the beach. I also need a car that looks good in the city and is good for longer road trips. Interior is important. Hate cars with tiny touch screens.

Range Rover velar perhaps?
