Guys , whoever is interviewing and planning to join , do ask project availablity on priority basis before you take decision. On Java front looks like there is some project issue due to recent slowdown in market. My offer was not revised even after agreement with recruiter because of this.

How much yearly hike can one expect at Société Générale ?
"Depends on performance" seems to be a very vague answer.
Can someone please elaborate on a better answer.
Also, Can someone shed some light on promotions?
Is there any policy, like you have to work for X years to be eligible for promotion etc.
Thanks in advance.

I cried my first work trip I was so anxious to fly 😂 - I’ve been with the firm for 12 years and it just gets easier the more you do it. Nowadays it’s no different than catching the bus to the office.
No tips other than just show up and do it scared! Next time will be a bit easier, and then a bit easier.
Edit to add: it’s way less stressful than personal travel because if anything goes wrong, it’s not on your dime. Flight cancelled? Rebook for whatever gets you home. Need an extra hotel night? Oh well! Eliminating the “how do I pay for this” if something goes wrong eliminated a lot of my travel anxiety

Why are you anxious to travel fly? Millions of people do it alone in the US a day, so curious what the underlying issue is.
If you’re anxious, get there early. Id suggest applying for tsa pre check as well.

Or the opposite, get there as late as possible and you’ll be too focused on not missing your flight that you aren’t worried about the flight itself.

Have to ask why you chose consulting of all careers if you’re anxious to fly/travel?
If it’s a new airport for you show up a little early. Make it as easy to get through tsa as possible with precheck or clear and sorting all your stuff before hand. If I can make it through the airport handicapped, make my connection, and not be nervous you certainly can.

What specifically makes you anxious? Psychologists will tell you that if you can name the specific aspects of the activity that make you anxious, then you can also make a plan (even if only in your head) to deal with those things. Knowing you have a plan and being confident that you can execute on the plan should ease that anxiety.

All the above mentioned tips are great. Turbulence isn’t the greatest feeling, but it’s not as common in the mornings (pretty sure I read that somewhere). There are tons of benefits that can help the good outweigh the bad.
If you're nervous about getting someplace, schedule time for yourself to review the different steps and actions you'll need to take and put it into your calendar.
I usually try to have at least two methods of transportation figured out in case one option doesn't work out. (E.g., if you have to take public transportation vs rideshare due to lack of drivers).
+1 for TSA Precheck. If you travel internationally, might as well get global entry.
You can also check to see which lounges are available at the different airports you're flying to/from. That way if you need a comfortable place to chill out, work, eat/drink, and/or freshen up you already know where to go and what's available to you.
Create a receipt folder in your camera roll/photos folder so you can take pictures of your receipts that you'll submit for travel reimbursements. You won't have to worry about losing anything and you'll have everything all in one place. You can also add screenshots as well to it.
Make sure your luggage is comfortable/sturdy. Depending on how long you're going to be onsite, try not to check any luggage in case something happens with your luggage during your flight (e.g., sent to the wrong destination, lost, etc.), or be sure to pack your toiletries and 1-2 outfits in a carry on just in case.
Remember to have fun! See if there's anything near your client or near your hotel that might be worth checking out if you have any free time during your stay. It can be something as simple as visiting a local coffee shop that isn't Starbucks.
If you're anxious about actually flying, see if you can get prescribed some medication to help you calm down or even sleep through the flight.
Smooth travels my friend!
