No. Theoretically states could, but it doesn’t matter for Trump. His current term ends January 20, 2021, even if no election is held.
If the office is vacant because of no elections, it would flow to the VP (vacant), then to Speaker (vacant, since the house wouldn’t have been elected), then to the new Senate Pro Tem (which would be elected by the 2/3 of Senators not up for election in 2020, of which Dems are a majority).

Does anyone, or any branch of the gov, have that authority?
Things will be better in November and the election will go on, the only thing this will affect are the Democratic primaries which have been rigged since 2016
I hope we at least have good therapies by then, but we could be in the middle of the second wave, if (big if) the coronavirus subsides in the summer.
Voting may be a significant risk.
I don’t think Trump can simply delay the election by executive order, but Congress could probably decide to do it legislatively if the risk was deemed too high. Also keep in mind that every incumbent would benefit from this.
Can’t you vote using an app or someting

Comparing mail in voting which has been done since the Civil War to an App isn’t really the same about why we shouldn’t expand mail voting 💁♂️

Inauguration day is written into constitution
Conversation Starter
No Inauguration Day is the following January. The states and their reps to the electoral college decide who is able to be inaugurated. If nobody is selected, then the position would be held by whoever is next in line in the order of succession, as outlined above by another poster.

It is possible to hold truly democratic elections while keeping people safe. South Korea did it. The only reason Trump would try to postpone it (although he has no authority to do it) is because he knows it’s in his best interests.

We should give it to trump to save the dems money and donate it to the suffering.

The Election of 1918 wasn’t delayed due to the Spanish Flu, 2020 won’t be delayed.
Congress would have to change a law. The president has no say.
