Following as I am being tested tomorrow and nervous about it as I think I may be positive.

I know many who have had it! Brother and his wife, a friend and her boyfriend and friend, my parents. All felt miserable for like 2 weeks - said it felt like the worst flu they’ve ever felt. They all lost the sense of taste/smell.
However, they all recovered fully with no (currently known) side effects. Some did say it took a long time (2+ months) to get to a point where they didn’t still feel some impact to their lungs, but that was more during workouts or other strenuous physical activity.
You’ll be okay! This is a very serious illness, and a very serious pandemic, but by and large most people are getting through this without serious impacts. Take care of yourself! Rest, hydrate, and keep an eye on your fever and oxygen level if possible!
I had a very mild case and totally understand how you’re feeling. Take it one day at a time and try and remain calm. I recovered within a week after showing symptoms. What are your symptoms?
I hope you recover soon, if you feel lonely I am happy to lend an ear if you need someone to talk to.
8 people in my family had it, most were asymptomatic and some had very mild symptoms (only loss of smell/taste)
Obviously anecdotal, but hope you feel well too!
Hi there - Sorry about your results.
I am on the mend from COVID and my symptoms were mostly mild. I did have a handful of days where I was pretty miserable. However after my symptoms peaked around the 4th day, I almost immediately felt better and more energized.
The best thing is to drink lots fluids (tea, broth, OJ, coconut water) and eat fresh healthy foods. It helped my energy levels when I didn’t always feel like eating decent sized meals.
Also I met virtually with a doctor who helped prescribe meds for some of the peskier symptoms like shortness of breath. I ended up using an inhaler from 2 to 3 times during the first 4 days that eased the discomfort with breathing.
Hope this helps and that you recover soon.

Hi there OP, my mom (who is 62), my sis and bro in law tested C19 positive roughly 2 weeks ago.
You’ll just feel really tired, which is expected as the body is fighting a viral infection. Just remain hydrated and take a lot of rest. Take days off of work. All 3 of them are now recovering. Mostly experienced chills and maybe diarrhea just once or twice, my bro in law showed no symptoms.
Don’t worry, I know it’s over whelming but compared to what the doctors knew in March, they now know SO much more and are able to treat that much better.
The doctor did ask my mom to take her BP readings (we’ve got a small machine at home) once a day. And he asked all the three of them to check their temp and oxygen levels using the oximeter twice a day. So I would suggest you get an oximeter if you don’t have one.
My mom was prescribed certain meds as a precaution only because she’s 60+ and has hypertension pre covid, whereas the other two were asked to sit tight for 2-3 weeks. If you need someone to chat with please feel free to DM. You’re not alone :)

Please get a pulse oximeter and keep checking your oxygen levels (you can get it on Amazon). My family had it and they all recovered. Also, be on the lookout for extreme hunger pangs because that can indicate stress hyperglycemia and would need medical intervention. Hope you get well soon!🤗
I had it early on. Yes it sucked. A lot. Like I didn’t want to move. But for me it only lasted a few days. The week before that few days I had lost smell and taste.
Stock up on Gatorade and keep it near where you sleep. There were a couple nights I could not get up

I had a super mild case like 8 months ago. Had a pretty bad fever (103) and diarrhea and a little bit of a dry cough and lost of taste smell. I would say it is the best I’ve ever felt while having a fever. Yes I was sick but I have had colds that made me more miserable. Being sick lasted like 5 days. Taste and smell was gone for like 3 weeks.
I have it as well right now - my case is very mild, so my worst “symptom” is the severe anxiety about the loved ones I saw before I knew I was sick. Still waiting on their results and won’t feel better until they are negative.
Right there with you. Realized I had totally lost my smell and taste at my elderly parents house last night... ran right out of there but had been around them for a few hours. Tested positive today. So much anxiety... the feeling of impending doom couldn’t be more real.
