Anyone here work at Wellington Management and is willing to chat with me about a Data Science / Quant role? Recruiter reached out and I’m considering whether I should interview for it. Currently work at a Global Macro Desk of a MM hedge fund (think Millennium, Balyasny, Pt72) and looking to understand more about firm culture, investment process, career prospects to the extent possible and comp. Thanks!

If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. SA1 said both check the box for promotion. They don't.
Would you still suggest getting an MBA if I already have a CPA?
Totally depends on where you get your MBA. Go get an MBA if you want to be in investment banking, PE, Hedge, or management consulting
You should probably do the MBA.
Tax manager 1, why?
Because if you are comparing the two, being an accountant isn’t your passion and you will just be unsatisfied.
Now if you were comparing CPA vs MSA then I would say get both as long as someone else is paying.
And if so, what if it’s part time vs full time?
To me i think, Mba top 5 > cpa > rest of mbas
