Lol. Context is key. But keep drinking the kool-aid young one.
obama had consistent economic growth from about 2009 all the way through his two terms. he brought us out of the recession that continued through his first year. trump kept the momentum, claiming he made a home run while he started on third. then covid...

As much as I detest Trump and everything, is this an accurate measure? With everything reopening now and people getting hired back, wouldn’t that artificially inflate job growth?

I ama buy myself this cup.
Definitely a faulty comparison. Biden is light years better than trump, but you’d have to be severely dense to think this is an apples to apples comparison.
Normally I would 100% agree with you. But thw reason the oandemoc got as bad as it did in the US was actually due to the prior admin's botched response to the pandemic.
I dont know that we should say Biden should take credit for the million job created, but the fact that we are seeing such a dramatic improvement is because of how terrible of a job Trump did.

I’ll be honest, I posted this asinine tweet to see how many people were objective in realizing how ridiculous it was. I’m pleasantly surprised a few people pointed out the absurdity. Still an overwhelming echo chamber of non critical thinking but I at least see some hope here.

1) I’m thankful to see people regaining jobs they lost, this should be celebrated by everyone.
2) Economic indicators are always trailing, so while this is wonderful news, and I’m optimistic that it will continue, I think that attributing employment growth to a new President is *typically* a poor argument to make.
3) I think we are currently in a unique environment where a lot of the job growth & the decline in new unemployment filings is a result of the predictability and stability of the current administration. Businesses are able to more effectively plan and hire in anticipation of forthcoming events.
3) is true. When govt is stable businesses don’t sit on the sideline.

Lol echo chamber - “most people here have a different opinion than me so therefore it’s an echo chamber”
Honestly I don’t know if we trust this kind of political statics. They can intentionally miss some critical information to make you think what they want you to think.
