Anyone who is offended is part of the problem.
Any CD who is not offended by that smarmy cliched sizzle video should leave this industry. Really, your taste !
Being offended by it is different than criticizing it. Is it definitely that they were offended by it? I thought it could have done a few things better. Like not bury the fact that they changed their tag line. And maybe they could have pointed the finger at their own advertising over the last 90 years instead of pointing the finger at customers only. They are saying good and important things. But I think it could have been executed in a different way. That doesn’t make me offended by it though. Just critical of it. Even as a woman
Agreed! I, a woman, was also very critical over it and have debated with many others about how I’ve felt. Loved some parts, really disliked others and it’s good to reflect why. It would be interesting to see whether they are more offended or more critical of it

The guys talking about it any other way than the above, aside from criticizing the execution, are absolutely part of the problem.
