Hello fishes, I joined Nagarro on 24th of August. But still no project is assigned yet. Basically I am on bench. Now I am about to get an offer from ServiceNow. I really wanna join ServiceNow as it's a big product based organisation and the competition is really high compared to Nagarro. ServiceNow is giving me a joining date of 1st October. As I am still on bench, will I get released by Nagarro soon ? Because no project is allocated to me.

I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

Is this a romantic thing? Really reads like a date / something personal. Seems like a nice enough overture, but if you’re not interested then just politely decline and move along.
I’m a woman. It is not creepy it’s an unreciprocated crush. I’m sure he spent a lot of time thinking about how to approach you. I think it’s sweet.
Let him know you’re flattered but you’d like to keep it platonic.
This client was cross country and there is definitely no romantic interest. He’s probably 10-15 years older if I had to guess. My SO also isn’t on board 😂
OP you already know how to respond to this man...I get that it’s cool to share things on fish bowl but there’s no better time than this to say: weird flex, but ok
Do you like them? If not, very creepy lol
The fact that OP has rebuffed him several times in the past indicates that he was aware of the recipient's lack of interest.
I don't think anyone is calling this harassment. But it does suggest social ineptitude on his part.
Multi level marketing scheme for sure
WFG?
Yeah, it's an odd request if this is someone you didn't have any meaningful interaction with.
"Good to hear that you are no longer sick. Unfortunately, catching up will not be possibile. I wish you continued good health."
Then you can ignore if they pursue further.
BAH 1 - it was not to talk shop. I cut out a portion of email that explained this person left the company. Besides the rest of the words very clearly not leaning towards a professional meeting.
Yes, maybe his phrasing was a little creepy, but to me it clearly reads that he would like to go on a date with you. No harm in that and he’s just trying to put himself out there. As long as he’s not being aggressive about it, I don’t see anything wrong with someone trying to pursue a romantic relationship given that the engagement is now over
I don’t see why this is creepy if you’re not still on the engagement. Can’t be that hard on men 😂🤦🏼♀️
And I have been coming up with. List of what to do with my life
Or they just want to get a job with your company and hope networking with you can provide the opening...
But what about that “:)” emoji? Bro doesn’t even use an actual emoji in 2019
Can anyone who thinks this is creepy please explain why they feel that way? It’s literally someone asking someone else for a date, and giving her a very clear out. While OP said that she rejected lunch invites previously, that was during an engagement, so a completely different context. I’m really lost as to why it’s so terrible to ask out someone you’re interested in
Totally agree SC2. I see a lot of bias going on because the guy is 10-15 older. Apparently anytime you put it out there in an honest way to say you like someone else, you’re “creepy.” 😠
Don’t find this creepy at all, though maybe awkwardly written. Also don’t think he needed to be blasted for your entertainment
I don’t see the relevance between job or date when you’re just making fun of how he writes
Is it feasible to assume this person romantically interested in you? If no, not creepy and I think it’s harmless. If yes and you’re not interested - eh.
Yes def would assume that. I had declined a few lunch invitations while at client site. Harmless but no interest from my end.
I’m sorry OP, but you’re a terrible person for posting this. It was a private message sent to you.
Yep. Just look at Ops responses to some of these comments.
Catfish them for money. I’ll help you for a cut.
Yes...this
Actually I’m going to back track on something I said and say thank you to OP for posting this. From the responses on this thread I just realized how many creeps are out there pretending to be consultants. For those of you that don’t find this creepy, please explain your thinking 👀
Creeps under the guise of consultants. Love it. Some truth there!
Dude took his shot, you got the confirmation you needed - but you’re kind of dragging him now with all your responses
I would like to meet up with him for coffee
Ugh I had a professor send me one of these after I finished his course in college. Creep city.
He clearly liked you and wanted to ask you out. What’s creepy about that? At least he didn’t act on it while you were working with him. Just say you are flattered but are dating someone and get over it.
