Crowdsourcing for some advice! Culture means nothing. It all depends who you report to. Also understand the WLB promises better. What do they exactly mean. Some boutiques work even longer hours.

I chose a T2 over boutique. IMO WLB wouldn’t vary much: both suck anyways. T2 has more project variety and, consequently, more opportunities to get exposure to different industries/business functions.

OP, in line with M1, it would be easier to offer thoughts if we had the specific companies you’re weighing. There are not a plethora of life science shops so you might gain more valuable specifics if you provide the firm names. Additionally, what are you personal career goals within and (if relevant) after consulting)? This may influence our community’s advice for you.

t2 is ZS. Trying to keep boutique on the DL in case someone from there trolls this bowl... but it is UK based with very little US presence

I accepted the T2 vs boutique, wanted a good name on my resume in case I decided to jump. Plus, more opportunities to meet more impactful people IMO

#1 if you aim eventually for an exit into an MBA or industry - brands matter. Also depends on how much you care about WLB

Background on me: I have an MBA and MPH and have been working in life sciences consulting for 2 years. Looking to leave my current company due to massive shift in management team and priorities Would appreciate any advice you have to offer!!

Great post! I'm in the same boat and accepted an offer from the boutique. More opportunity to create an impact and footprint, but curious to see what the T2 response is! Good luck!

Thanks all. t2 is ZS. Trying to keep boutique on the DL in case someone from there trolls this bowl... but it is UK based with very little US presence

Thanks c3! It’s not Deallus, actually even smaller than them!

OP, what did you end up doing?

So I performed a good deed this weekend by calling a drunk stranger an uber ride. 23 year old kid who lost his phone and lost his friends. He actually climbed into my uber and kept asking for help. For some reason I let him in my uber and then called him a separate one. I even gave him my mask. Is there a way that I can contact the driver to see if he made it alright? I don’t even care about the kid but want to make sure I don’t get blamed for anything.
