Hi. I have very low AMH, 36 years old & never have been pregnant. I have done 2 IVF cycles this year approx 5 months apart. Each time had only 2 eggs retrieved, 1 fertilization each which lead to the embryo reaching blastocyst stages both times & both came back normal after genetic testing 🤍 talk about beating the statistics odds! 🤞🏻 I now have 2 cutie embryos saved. My husband & I would love to have twins and will be speaking to my doctor about the best options. Twins thoughts?

i’m in a pickle

i have a job where the work is okay, but i cannot stand my coworkers. there’s been so much undermining and rudeness that, even though we’re in a slower slow time, i have so much built up resentment i still don’t like my job.

i also don’t like the permanently remote nature of the job (wasn’t remote when i joined), and feel like im getting pigeon-held into low value work (compliance, provision, fixed assets etc.)

am i reacting too emotionally for wanting to leave?

I am recently received an invite for a meeting with a partner and a HR person which means I am either going to be laidoff or put on a reduced schedule (60% time for 60% pay). I would rather being laidoff since I don’t want to still work 100% with 60% pay. How would I frame it if they put me on the reduced schedule? I don’t want to say “you have to fire me” since it might be counted as resignation and I won’t receive the severance package.

I’m 4.5 years in at a regional firm. Every busy season seems to be worse than the prior and I have such an awful mood about PA/accounting...lately been struggling to even work 40 hours. When my mood is decent my job is great and I crush it, but it’s bad most of the time so I feel miserable. I can’t seem to get myself to leave though. Anyone else experience this? Any tips for making this more sustainable and keeping myself in a decent mood? I’m generally a happy guy outside of work. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Senior 1 here- I have recently been getting severe episodes of panic attacks every morning before sitting down to work. Unusually anxious this busy season (probably due to be assigned on a huge re estate fund client which i am definitely incapable of managing in addition to smaller clients)? Got laid off due to COVID and have been struggling to find a job. I wasn’t happy and my mgmt sucked so this is a good thing. Now I really hate the idea of working for a company. I know everyone works and I’m not a genius who can just start a scalable biz. But I just can’t get my head around the idea of doing something I hate for a paycheck. All these years of busy seasons burnt me out. Struggling in between doing something I enjoy for less pay and taxes for more pay.

Does $80k sound like a reasonable number for an experienced tax senior at a B4 in Dallas?
