I think ppl are selfish af traveling to and from China knowing they could potentially spread this shit (not talking about ppl forced for work)

I am really scared at how lite US govt has been handling this - travel ban alone is not gonna help. We need monitoring at all travel points . There is gonna be a huge outbreak and it’s scary to think about it . On top of it we fishes travel for work 🤯

...those hundreds of people likely used Ubers and Lyfts to find their way home. Those Ubers and Lyfts individually picked up another 5-10 people within the same time period...and so the story goes on.

Shouldn’t have happened. Do y’all think I should cancel an upcoming cruise? All this is scary!

Same!

Did they go to China? Or you’re just worried about all travel?

News report says they were screened, and although no infection found, 4 people who had traveled to China (not Hubei province) have been taken to a hospital for further screening.

The ship has a 4000 people capacity. Except for a dozen who were screened, everyone else disembarked like they just got off the subway. The virus can live in someone’s body for up to 14 days without injecting them and not showing any symptoms and yet can be transmitted to others.

It’s airborne. So basically many of those passengers are hosed. Looks like NJ is going to be a hot spot. Of course. I have to travel there for work.

They were tested before they were allowed to leave.
“No one in New Jersey or New York has been found with the virus but one patient with symptoms was awaiting test results in New York City as of Friday. Four previous tests from Manhattan and Queens were negative”

My fiancé has had this life long friend that is female. He says they have never had any sort of romantic relationship. In the past year it seems like she’s been around a whole lot more. She’s always going to the cafe he owns and even hangs out after hours while he is cleaning. He closes at 2pm during covid so I’m working. I don’t want to be the crazy jealous type but I’m suspicious of her. What should I do? I’ve brought it up to him but he just says I don’t have anything to worry about.

Very random question to white people. When you greet other white people, do you do the cheek kiss greet, hug, or none? I’m going to a wedding soon and most people will be white there. As an asian person, I have no idea how to greet.
