Culture and WLB at Amazon ads ?

Looking for some feed back on Sedgwick. How is the pay for a senior claim specialist? Health Insurance ? Opportunity for advancement? Culture? Diversity?

Our school recently hired a "culture and climate specialist." Does anyone else have this position in their district? Do you feel like it's made a difference?

I just want to say to the recruiters at this company, who insinuate that a potential candidate has the opportunity to become hire, only to call them by phone and say “we didn’t “ pick you is unprofessional and tasteless. Remember you were once a candidate and one day may have to be a candidate again. Getting somewhat of an understanding how the culture is from the interview, I am glad that first I have a job and that I didn’t get picked.

Are there tech companies with good work life balance out there?

Feeling discouraged that most places I’ve worked at have felt unsustainable from an office culture and management perspective. I like working in tech and it pays better than other industries but would love to start a family soon and it feels like a far off goal when I feel weighed down by stress and work pressure.

I didn’t get along with one of my AE. She never included me in anything and spend 2.5 years ignoring me. If one isn’t her best friend, she doesn’t work with them.

I decided to leave so today I had my last 1:1 with my manager. He’s great and joined us a year ago.

Seriously, I was exhausted one day after doing my normal job all day (Csharp dev), interviewing in Kotlin and Swift all day (want to get back into mobile). So when my phone rang at 530pm for the 40th time that day, she took the call. It was fantastic!
