There is no such thing as one unifying culture unless you’re wework. Like always - hours/culture/work load always vary by Team/region/service lines.
I have been working at PwC for 6 months now, and prior to that I was at a mid tier firm for 3 years. It really depends on the line of service, location, team you work with, etc. I am much more happier at big 4. Way better clients, technology, and long term the big 4 brand name will hold more weight than a mid tier. Shockingly, the workload for me at big 4 is much less than the mid tier firm I left. Culture is about the same.

I came to EY from mid-tier a couple years ago and agree with PwC1. Big 4 has overall been a much better experience for me
