Job sharing in professional services is becoming more common. Would it make sense to offer job sharing at the partner level? Hypothetical: let's say I take 100,000 today after my taxes and invest it in a brokerage account for 30 years (I'm 25). If we assume 7% interest rate it comes out to be 750k. If I draw below the 80K threshold for capital gains each year (married filing jointly) then that whole thing is tax free right? Am I missing something? I know we need to assume taxes stay the same/similar, and I can live off of 70K at 55. But anything else?
