Anyone familiar with consulting within a tech company?

So I just started at a new company about 5 months ago. I’m already looking to leave. My boss should not be in the director of HR role she in, she does not have the experience for it. She was put into that role because the prior director left and she was the senior most person on the team. I’m also not connecting with anyone on my team. I don’t feel fulfilled or happy here. Should I be leaving so soon? I assume if I do apply to other places, my short tenure here will be a red flag. Thoughts?

I have a website/app idea. After writing most of the details, features, and functionality out it now seems overwhelming. For those with a similar idea, did you just make a Minimum Viable Product for the 1.0 version, or try to fit in as many features as possible on launch? I received an offer for IT Automation Engineer role at 130k 10% bonus in NYC. Is this a good offer?

Recently accepted a great offer from one of those startup-within-a-large-company outfits. The startup farms out the hiring stuff to the larger company. In the new hire paperwork, I noticed it said the comp was based on my being in a Tier 1 CoL city. Prior to accepting I'd mentioned to the startup I was looking to move, and they said it shouldn't be an issue. Will they adjust my comp down if I move to a Tier 2 city? Startup is fully distributed and remote.

Any recommendations for a 4k monitor?
