I’m cooking the same big dinner, but will be dropping off food at our parents’ houses. With the kids back in school PT, we don’t want to risk exposing our parents to anything.

My husband is working Thanksgiving and Christmas and the worst thing is ...I don’t cook! So I’m not sure what I’m gonna do yet!!

Thanks for the suggestions! I could do a mix of both of those.

I’m not old BUT when I was younger I thought it was important to have all the alphabets after my name (I.e. Phr, SHRM and all the others). I learning that the younger crowd coming into the market thrives off these identifiers yet they know very little about the real world aspects of the job. I watch leadership roll their eyes at the email footers. I feel like keeping those attached to my name hurts my credibility so I removed them…. I’m I thinking wrong?

Fellow runners - I’ve been running 3-4x per week at about a 20-25 mile/week for the past year or so.

My questions: (1) does it make sense to take a week off and let myself rest or do other workouts (i.e. cycling) and (2) I’ve been running with the same shoes since August last year - make sense to get new ones?

I had hoped this formula shortage would be solved by now but every week I go to the store the shelves are mostly empty. How have new moms been getting by? I am due in a few weeks and nursing didn't work for me with my first. My milk never came in despite all the crazy hoops my lactation consultant had me due. Just feeling anxious about keeping a newborn fed with the shortage

Hi! My husband had a pituitary tumor apoplexy less than a year ago that took 90% of his sight rendering him unable to work. I am looking for a flexible data entry job that I could do “on the side” to help ends meet. I have been in Product Management for over 20 years and am very good with data and details. My life revolves around computers! Any suggestions would be appreciated! (Bonus points to anyone that also knows of a job a mostly blind person could do from home!!!)

Would really love to help my lovely sister in law find a job in NYC or CT. She is a certified nutritionist, celebrity personal chef (her current job in Aspen but she is moving to Westport in January) and an all-around terrific, dedicated, hardworking person. She gets down around the holidays because she's single and doesn't have kids, but is an amazing aunt to our kids. Does anyone have any leads in the health/ wellness space? Im in biglaw and this is out of my depth a bit. TIA, Happy Holidays!

I was in a position of leadership before being demoted earlier this year. It wasn’t called that, but I was given a different role and they hired someone to take my spot. My boss has since expressed regret for this decision calling it hasty on his end

I had access to all the things I was managing for months into my new role and discovered when they hired 5 new entry level positions, all got 45k (women) except one, who got a 60k (1man). The 60k man works on my team and is sort of awful.
