Curious, does anyone have experience working for the same firm as their spouse? My spouse just got an offer to join a totally separate part of my company. It doesn’t seem like there is any actual optimization of benefits in this situation but I’m curious if I’m missing something.

I’m curious to hear from people at other firms what is offered in terms of part time work or alternative work options for people that don’t really care about making partner and might want to work part time. I just had my second child and want to ask to come back from maternity leave on a part time basis but our firm doesn’t seem to have anything in place right now. If your firm offers this, what’s the billable requirement, how much of a pay cut is it, and do you still get benefits? Thanks!

I had submitted my resignation a few days ago. It’s been an emotional few days sharing the news with the different teams that I work with. Everyone seems upset and I feel like I’m leaving my family, but the other job has better benefits/pay.

a job that the posting stated $36.66 per
hour (FP&A Analyst)…the company
recruiter had told me in the initial call the
pay could be 32-36 because of the other
benefits. If I do get a job offer what range
should I try for? I was really hoping to get
around the 36-40 but now I feel like they
may try to offer lower than what was
posted. Also there was no range but the
average for this position is upper 70s-90k.

Hi Team, My expense entered last week under Well Being Subsidy was Processed but I have got a mail today from Compliance that the product is not eligible for the Well Being expense and the expense would be reversed, so shall I go ahead and add negative expense in the report and then buy something with that amount eligible under Well Being and raise the new reimbursement today?
