I drink socially, I like to have fun but not get trashed. My limit is usually 3-4 drinks. And that’s like, twice a month? If it’s more often it’s usually 1-2 drinks. Moderation is good. Also, I smoke a lot of weed lmao.
Been sober curious for the past year. It's so hard when every social gathering has the expectation of drinking. I'm not at a point in my life where I can go to social space sober, my anxiety won't allow it lol. I avoid drinking by staying home
Sober curious here. Not drinking just makes me feel so good - physically and mentally. I often go out and don’t drink, though I still do enjoy a beer, glass of wine, or nice cocktail. I don’t really ever see a time when I’ll 100% never drink (outside of pregnancy) since I genuinely do enjoy my “treat.” But that being said, I probably have 3-4 drinks a month?
Have that drink while 🤰 - why the women of the US have decided total sobriety is the only way to go is beyond me. This also while they are ingesting endless processed ‘health’ foods.
I recently listened to Andrew Huberman's podcast on the effects of alcohol and decided to take a break from drinking. It's been 6 weeks so far and has been great. Better sleep and energy levels. I'll drink again at some point and am not missing it much at this point.
Oh I was just joking. I think that’s really kind of you. For me personally, I don’t mind though. Just a personal and health choice, but everyone has different reasons
Trying to stop. My body really can't handle alcohol anymore now that I'm 30. Had two mixed drinks over the course of a 3 hour lunch and ended up puking it all up a few hours later. It's like I've become alcohol intolerant.
I used to drink socially for many years. Haven’t had alcohol since the lockdowns, changes in my social situations (like not going to happy hours with colleagues anymore) and major overall life changes. I don’t judge those who do enjoy a drink- I may return to occasional social drinking some day.

Cheap way of getting uplifts lol
😆
Eh, if OP cared, they would have chosen uplifts as the drinking option. Most people do drink after all

I had a liver transplant. Although I LOVE drinking wine, I cannot drink a drop. It would actually kill me.
Have you tried alcohol free wine? The brands are getting better and better

Set a limit like 2 or 3 drinks, go have fun, and bounce when you get bored.

Is that how you get Chief? Why do people care about that lol. Reminds me of FourSquares Mayor designation back in the day.

Same!! That podcast really opened my eyes with how bad alcohol is, even if you have just 1-2 drinks.

Someone else mentioned that above. What’s the significance of uplifts? And why do you seem mildly annoyed? Lol

Don’t drink.
I drink 2-6 drinks a week, depending on the week.

Same thing started to happen to me. It made me feel just awful, and didn’t take much
Only drink socially and I’m not a social person so it comes down to like a couple times a year. Drinking alone makes me depressed so i don’t do that
I enjoy drinking but realized if I want to stay at a healthy weight I can not consume alcohol. I have glass of champagne once or twice a year.
27 and never drank before. Of course I’ve tasted drinks before when I used to work at a restaurant, but I never drank to get drunk.
