I’ve been thinking a lot this past year about how there’s really no point to life. You wake up, work, make dinner, clean dishes, get an hour or two to do whatever, sleep, and repeat until the weekend. On Saturday, you try to recover from the exhausting week you had. On Sunday, you start to panic because Monday is about to come and you still don’t feel ready. I low key don’t really have any reasons to live for.
Anxiety attacks have been picking up (used to be few times a year, now weekly) I see a therapist already but have people had success with ashwagandha and magnesium? Not interested in prescription meds for me personally even though I recognize their merits

Hey all - early 30’s and feeling really lost in terms of trying to figure out what I want to do in life. I’ve been in consulting for 5 years and just hate it. I’m torn between doing something for the greater good and making good money. Is there any way to do both?
Also if anyone has recs for helpful books or podcasts on figuring out life, I would appreciate any and all suggestions!

I just took a new job and the OTE is less than agreed to after going through the comp plan. Also the recruiter told me 50% of people were hitting their quota and no one was less than 70% last year. However I found out the last 6 months everyone is less than 10%. I know get that recruiters can mislead with performance metrics but giving the wrong OTE seems super unethical to me. Has anyone had this happen?
BDR not involved in internal discussions ? I'm currently at a small start up with an almost none existant sales team. The current 'team' is mostly made up of the ceo and another manager that are significantly older than me (I'm 25 and just finishing my BA). So far I have managed to bring in significant deals to the company by leading lead generation and prospecting campaigns. However I am left out of internal discussions, product updates and feel as if the ceo is unaware of my contributions
Current corporate litigator attorney with extensive healthcare education thinking about switching from current attorney job. Hate the monotony and micromanagement prevalent throughout law. Is this a crazy idea or the best decision I’ll make for my career? Any thoughts and tips appreciated!
Property and Casualty license. I decided to get into insurance after 10 years of retail. This is whole new industry for me so a little nervous about the classes to get this license. I was always a C grade kid in school and never really did well in test. I’m not a dummy though. I can pick up things if I see you do it and me try it after. I am a very visual learner and am able to learn new things. Wondering what’s your experience was with classes and test?
Hi I just started my first tech job as an AE. Salary is cool and everything around 65k a year plus commission. Was wondering if anyone has any advice to grow or find other positions with larger salaries doing well in my role and want to continue growing.
Is it super petty of me to keep calling and generally bugging potential clients when they ghost me and refuse to respond? To be clear, this is a policy I reserve for people who get way deep into the process, let we’re about to sign contracts, and then they just vanish.

Money or passion? Spent the last 2 years building my own company after burning out. It's been tough financially but I really believe in it. Now a previous boss has made a great offer, but I'd have to give up on my company (not enough time for both). What would you do?
My manager, who also happens to be the COO of the startup that hired me a month ago has advised me to enunciate clearer & “iron out any accent issues”. I have a clear accent and sound nothing like Apu from the Simpsons. None of my clients nor colleagues have any trouble understanding me.
I’m an Indian expat who moved to the UK and I’m the 3rd person of Color (first expat) who works here. We have about 150 employees based across UK (HQ) and the US.

Hey everyone, need some career help...
I’m currently a BDR at a small family business who specializes in financial services. Total sales team is 11 people just to give you an idea.
I’ve been here for 2 years now and it’s my first job out of college. Id like to move to a larger company with more growth and training as I know it will help me for the future.
I’m afraid that with my limited experience and an unknown company that will be hard to get my foot in anywhere. What should I do?
Hi there, I got an offer for an early stage cyber security saas startup in Canada and they offered me 130k base and 10-15% commissions which they estimated at 160-240k additional a year. They only have 1 sales person at the moment and I would be 2nd and they are hiring for 3 more. I’ve always been on a 50:50 model and never done the % of revenue. Average deal size is 40k. I got 12 yoe in enterprise tech sales. No stock options upfront but potentially after the first 3 months. Good deal?

You research a couple companies you like and apply for SDR or BDR role. Excel at that, and you can get promoted to account executive, which can lead into enterprise sales.
I reached out to recruiters and referrals. But it was my friend who helped me really. I think you'll be able to get a chance as well with the help of recruiters or referrals.
I was considering going to law school. Then, I became friends with someone who worked in tech and was drawn in by the promise of WLB and not being miserable. I made it my goal to break into tech in any way possible, and started out as an SDR.
Only 5 payments of $1,999 and it was a game changer.
