Seyfarth got nothing on me.

YES! India, US or Mars add all the work exp. Recruiters anyway beef up the work exp requirements, why shouldn't we.
Absolutely include that
Ya you worked in an IT firm right, so what is the question? So many people add Internship experience.

I was reviewing some CVs and had an applicant include nanny experience, never understoodwhy they though that would matter. So definitely include your work experience outside of US, that is relevant.

PERMs for nannies are common. This is something I’d like to know if a potential client’s options are limited on the PERM front.

You should disclose all your experience. We (attorney and staff) will review that to see if anything can be used in support of the PERM case. Attorney will decided what to use and how much to use. Note that the more experience that is required, the higher the prevailing wage will come back. Good for you but some employers may not be willing to do that. Also, more experience required when not necessary looks bad, especially if not justified, and could lead to a PERM audit.
The same idea generally applies to NIV statuses.
