It sucks ....clients don’t get it (even though they’re in the same boat. But having two kids 3 yrs and under 1 with Covid has been madness . I hate corporate America so much at the moment but lucky to get getting a salary

I truly do not understand how you all enjoy full time WFH environment. We spent 4-5 years at college studied for exams, became sought after professionals just to spend 8-10 hours in your room every day like a prisoner. Does commuting suck for some ? Sure. But to think that I for the next 40 years I am going to be home all day every day without interaction happy hours office jokes office culture. It’s crazy. Part of being a white collar professional is the act of putting on the white collar.

I’m in a tricky situation. I started seeing a coworker earlier this year - right before and after the pandemic started. He’s since moved away and I’m not sure if he’ll be coming back. Things were going well, and we probably weren’t that far off from telling work. We still have to interact in a remote setting and it’s getting really hard for me. Any advice on how to handle?

Any NYC agencies looking to hire a Creative (AD) with 2 years of experience? I love my current job but it’s 100% remote and I really miss the buzzing office environment. Applied to a few cool positions on LinkedIn but it’s been crickets so far, recruiters keep complaining about “talent shortage” yet still ghost applicants.

Software Engineer, 3.5 Years of experience, remote job with a company that has a shared workspace office in Denver and a small team here but is mostly remote for tech jobs, company is headquartered in Oklahoma. Base pay 97,000, 10% profit share bonus, 6% 401k match after 1 year, other benefits at the low/mid range. Not sure if this is a good compensation package, but based on housing costs and living costs here, it's on the low range.

After over two decades in advertising I’m considering leaving the agency world for a job at a creative consultancy. It pays less but I’m excited about the work and the company (and it’s fully remote.) Curious, at this point in your career would you trade a higher salary for a better experience? And how much would you be willing to compromise?

Hi folks! Recently became a fully remote employee (26F, single) and debating on what city to now move to (currently live at home in FL). I’m looking to relocate to a major US tech hub with top contenders being Austin, Chicago, NYC, SF and Seattle. What city would be best to move to for career growth and a lively social life? What is the tech scene like in these cities? Appreciate any thoughts/suggestions!

Seeking an associate with first party property or construction litigation defense experience for a mid-sized firm in Boca and Miami. This firm is not a mill. Partners are super cool. No micro-managing. Billables are 2,100 and they have a solid bonus structure and salary. Remote flexibility whether 100% or a hybrid model. Let me know if you’d like to hear more on this even if just casually or if you have any questions anonymously. All conversations are confidential and discreet.

Does anyone have experience working remotely abroad? I currently work as a consultant at DocuSign and though it’s a remote role, I’m pretty sure it’s confined to the US. I’ve seen some posts about Uber allowing employees to work abroad and wanted to gain some insight from anyone who has been able to do this.
