I have been offered the consulting analyst position starting at 33.5k + 10k joining bonus, I’m wondering what the salary progression is like. In year 2 can I expect 33.5k with no bonus or will this go up? What about year 3/4 assuming I progress at the average rate? Thanks
Been interviewing and noticed that HR has been super up front about salary. Like quoting actual $. In the past, they’d only talk numbers after the offer has been given. Anybody notice the same thing?
I am trying to negotiate an internal base increase. Context is that I am at a FinTech following a key strategic and successful M&A in which I was the sole program manager. For reference I have 3 years of experience and have been offered a 10% base increase as a part of my promotion (current salary is 120k). I feel this is quite low given the market but would really appreciate any input
What is the appraisal cycle in IBM? How much hike one should expect in GBS for Salesforce skill? Also, I have joined at 20LPA+ 3 joining in Jan 2021, whereas one of my friend with same experience joined with 27LPA+3 joining bonus. Can I ask for correction in next appraisal cycle?
Evaluating two offers in tech. I live in Atlanta and was offered 155k salary and 122k RSU $10k sign on No annual bonus. Another tech company offered $170k and 165k RSU WITH 10% annual bonus but it’s based in California. What are y’all’s thoughts, I hadn’t planned on relocations but could if it’d worth it
Dear Friends, What is the average salary in tech Mahindra for 6.4yoe and development role in cloud integration? Currently ctc is 12lpa. How much can I ask? Thanks in advance... And how is the work life balance in Tech Mahindra is it very strict like a start up??
Interviewed for Deloitte S&A Tech Strategy SC and got a verbal offer for Consultant instead. I negotiated the offer to 120K salary and 10K signing bonus. I’m a boomerang with 4 years ERP consulting but this past year I’ve been doing DEI Consulting. Spoke with former colleagues who rejoined Deloitte and got a much higher offer for SC. How do I go back to the recruiter to negotiate further? I suggested that I’d probably sign but need time to think. Now I’d like to go back and request 140k salary.
So i was seeing the post around Deloitte USI work life balance, culture, hikes and bonuses were comparing to others. Let me tell you, this is the same company which gave me 1 lakh joining bonus, 20k award,10k special compensation, 5k spot award,15k furniture expense, 25k smartphone, 1.5k internet, awesome laptop to work, 15 days covid leaves. And today 22% hike 160% bonus. I mean i just joined 6 months back. What else you want from any company? I have great WLB since joined. #greatCompany #Love❤
Received offer of 92.5k and no signing bonus for GPS Consultant. Had spoken with recruiter about 95k before interviews and have heard of many others receiving 5-10k signing bonus. Should I push for both or just salary? How should I ask for signing bonus specifically?
Usual comp when leaving consulting 2 years in? Curious what people have gotten or are expected to get. Looking at internal strat roles
What salary can I expect for a 6yrs experienced Senior Business analyst for a similar position at Deloitte with current salary 16Lpa?
I'm happy in my role/salary, find it rewarding and the right work-life balance. My friends however, are talented and awesome so they've been rising up in their jobs and so, have a higher disposable income. When we go out especially on special occasions like trips/getaways, I'm starting to feel the pinch. They've been understanding and even give notice when it's a special occasion coming up where they want to splurge. If I don't go, it's fine but how do I spend time with them if everything is $$?
If you transition from Audit to FDD internally, will they automatically adjust your salary if you make the switch at YE aka before compensation adjustments for the next YE? Or will they try to give you a salary based on your previous group ie audit
Is it rude to ask for someone’s salary? I’m trying to do market research but I’m not sure how to go about it

Currently an OCM Associate with 2.5 YOE in consulting & 1 YOE experience in sales and going up for promotion to SA in May/June. Received a Senior Consultant offer from Cognizant that puts TC about 35-40% higher than current TC. Has anyone worked in the OCM practice at Cognizant / have any thoughts about growth, current TC vs offer, etc?
6.2% raise - rated 2 and promoted from C to SC... how would anyone be satisfied with that and the increased responsibilities that come with it? Time to be listen to those LinkedIn recruiters
Any Indians from the big-4 who went for the interview to India recently and successfully stamped h1b extensions? Been hearing weird stories about 221g delays..
Hey everyone, I have a BSc degree from a semi-target university in the United Kingdom, and I currently have around 2 years of strategy consultancy experience at a Big 4 in one of Africa's most competitive economies. I'm looking to step into consulting in Dubai/ Abu Dhabi (MBB, Tier 2, boutiques, etc.). Any referrals? Thanks
Given inflation and alleged labor shortage, what's the new base/TC band for an exit after 2 years as an Associate post-MBA in the US?
One of my team members is rolling off my project in a few months and my manager wants me to take over the work stream and sub-team he was leading. I don’t want to 😭 I need a new job ASAP 😂
Any firms with good parental leave policies? Or are most through short-term disability or only partial pay?
My wife is pregnant. Do the general courtesies of telling your manager/work beginning of 3rd trimester still apply during covid/work from home? Her industry has been hit hard and her job has been doing furloughs and layoffs. We can get pretty far without telling due to WFH but don’t want to put her boss in a bad position either.
I have work to do but I’m tired so gonna take a short nap. I’ll finish later and work late if I need to. I won’t miss a deadline, and my team won’t suffer. Good night! This has been an ad for keeping WFH/hybrid going instead of forcing people in 5 days a week.
Just got a new job and feeling like the “diversity hire.” Everyone else is white or Indian and in the town halls they keep talking about upping Diversity and Inclusion targets to include more Female and Black/Latino individuals.
Lately I’ve been trying to quit consulting and take up a less intense job for the period while my kids are very young so I don’t miss out on their early years. For now I’ve been applying to back office roles at banks to the extent where I can figure out that they are relaxed and not too intense. But I have a hard time converting any of my applications to such roles. I think my resume doesn’t make it past hr. And I have a hard time locating the hiring manager. Any tips?
