Does anyone have experience with Ben Glass’s “Great Legal Marketing” programs? https://greatlegalmarketing.com
I ordered a free “starter kit” from his company and received a decent-sized box with some books and audio CD’s. Haven’t listened to the CD’s yet, but the books aren’t bad, with plenty of practical advice.
Now he’s running a promotion where you can get two months of his basic-level course for just $19.95 to cover the cost of shipping. It seems that Ben is one of the better-regarded legal marketing “gurus” out there.

Serious answer: our office has been hosting chefs and bartenders to make their favorite foods and drinks over zoom. There are also virtual magicians and performers who are already hosting virtual parties.
Team recognition can be weaved into this by recognizing team members for specific things they did. Given that this will be cheaper than the usual year end party, I suggest you set a budget for awards and prizes.

I guess it is but that doesn't stop the party planning committees from doing this.
We recently had an agency event where we were sent some small treats in a package, and had a comedian, magician, and tarot card readings all done over zoom. It was really fun and well executed. I love the idea of having a chef or bartender lead a class as well, and maybe distribute a shopping list in advance. If you can swing it, an amazon gift card for each employee as opposed to an event would be appreciate I’m sure as well. Management also led a meeting where raffle prizes and funny awards were given out.
A half day off and a bonus check or gift card (even if it’s tiny) would be so much more appreciated and a morale booster than having to give up time for a company celebration. If it is a company event, would be cool to bring in a chef or bartender to teach some new tricks and tips.

Send them all party kits (maybe it’s snacks, maybe it’s a cocktail making kit) to have something to do / eat/drink while attending a virtual party.. maybe utilizing Zoom’s “rooms” to have different rooms with different party games or activities
I don’t want to be “rewarded” by having to spend more of my free time at some forced virtual event. If I did a good job show me the money or let me live my life.

cash bonus. no one wants an awkward zoom party it’s been a tough year and if you’d normally drop tens of thousands on the lavish party, just give your employees the money directly.
