Curious to know on average what Staff Claims Adjusters are making at the big names like State Farm, USAA, Geico, Nationwide, etc. I have been doing this for 4 years, have a degree & industry specific designations - I am starting to feel like I am being underpaid and manipulated not to believe so! 🆘

I was doing well, got decent raises, and a promotion but I was putting in 50+ hrs a week. The amount of effort I put in did not equate to the compensation nor appreciation.

I started at 50k, 2 1/2 years later I’m at 63k and handle attorneys

like

Nationwide Property Claims: 80k after 3 years.
Not including CAT duty and bonuses.

2019 Geico NF - $52531/yr no experience, bachelors

Been at Geico for 7 years. Bachelors degree. 68k.

Just stay away from USAA

Would also say ask the recruiter why 18% company wide ( manly I.T and Bank) is being laid off

So, I should be negotiating for my pay soon for my Administrative Assistant job. Currently making 13/hr as a Temp to Hire in the position. Research for State, National, and Industry averages has been mostly unhelpful because they're all different. The lowest Average is 35k, and the Highest average is 45k. How can I try to convince my boss that I'm worth the 45k? Especially since it would be an over 50% pay increase.

I need advice on applying to entry level positions. Any resume advice or jobs that would keep me above 50k. Thank you!
