It’s my birthday today ..
I am deputed at the client office. I use PSL laptop only to check mails. But in my last appraisal my manager told me that I need to get 60 credit points for promotion. But due to client work load, i won't be able to do that. So, I have resigned from PSL mentioning the same that promotion will not happen.
But my manager told me that he will try to give me a promotion in next cycle (ignoring the credit points clause). He is asking me to withdraw resign
Shall I withdraw my resign? Persistent

How has no one noted that theatre is by the far the most relevant degree to our job?
You have no idea. The VP I interviewed with straight up asked - “How do I know this isn’t all an act right now and you just played us all up to this point?!”
I answered - “The fact that you are asking yourself that and don’t know the answer, means it was money well spent on my end. Think what I could do if you were directing?!”
Clearly we know what the outcome of that interview was.
All jokes aside, I have noticed that it has helped in many ways!

My minor was political science... looking back maybe I wasn’t that sure where I was trying to go either haha

Aviation. Consulting never crossed my mind until 10 years later, stumbled into it
D2: I did similar. Made the poor decision to get an aviation degree when the airlines only require that you have a degree (of any sort). Really limited my options. So off to the military I went for about 9 years before stumbling into the consulting world. On the bright side, I’ve begun flying using the GI Bill
Had no idea what Consulting was until about a year AFTER I graduated with a BS in Business Management. Currently a Manager in S&O. Was lucky enough to figure it all out somewhere in between. Seems like a pretty fitting degree for a management consultant.
My degree was in Economics (and French). I didn't plan on consulting per se, but I'm doing the work I always wanted to do (health care policy), and federal health consulting turned out to be the best way to do that, for now.
Economics- planned on going into consulting
Finance- not planned
Biology. Most definitely not.
Finance - didn’t plan on it in college after I went to industry for a year I had to get out
CS and Math. Worked in the industry for a few years before b-school, which led me to consulting...so I suppose it was planned?!
Similar to me. CS, working in Network Security before b-school and eventually Accenture
Double in International business management and information systems.
Didn’t know what I wanted to do then, and quite frankly still don’t.
