If it's 3.5 years as an associate that's certainly doable if it's as an analyst then you've made some incredibly impressive investments. Kudos to you either way! Glad to see some others here also have the mindset of putting money away / to work because it blows my mind how many people are dead broke when they make so much.
I started at 23 and had about 30k plowed almost everything I had in there and then picked up the second multi family and plowed basically everything I had in again. Looking at more now but will leave some liquidity this time
80% of the "savings" described here is probably old money.
Seeing this makes me depressed. I'm 26 and have zero saved up. Still paying back lots of loans. 😔
Well, you lot certainly get paid well.
3 years as an analyst won't get you 400K without some extremely smart / high risk investing
26, 245k
Bull shit, some people know how to save and avoid the models and bottles crowd. 7-year bull market for those with a few years experience also helps
26 - a little over 400k
I am 26 and have 0 savings. Grumble grumble back office grumble :/
Haha! Good for you. Still living with your parents to "save"?
How in the world have you saved so much? What is the salary even like? Good job either way!
30 and $500k (includes all savings/brokerage accts + 401k). Been working since graduation with no gaps.
You worked during college, paid for it and managed to save? I suspect you also have some land beachfront in Arizona to sell me.
No cash - lots of mortgage debt and property interests. Levered. Interesting that so many people are hoarding cash
25, about 5k.
After b-school about 400K
25.5 and 80k which should bump up to ~160 in a few months. If I include loans I've paid back from before I got the job closer to $95k so far & 175
Dual income I think is how it's done
23.5, ~50k (but I still live home)
25 - $25k
30- $100k. In my second year of business school though. That is my post business school balance.
