Hello, I have received an offer from Southwest Airlines as a Associate Technology Analyst with their direct college hire program. Will be graduating in May with a degree in MIS and also have internships experience as a Business Systems analyst intern. The salary compensation started off at 66,500 but was looking for the 75k range and they got back to me saying the best they can do is 68,500. They also have a 401k company match up to 9.3%. Do you think this is a solid offer for this job market?

OD is more focused on the organization, roles , responsibilities, and the job architecture how to make sure that everything is aligned.
Other human capital work can involve talent assessment/strategy, diversity and inclusion, total rewards, employee experience, culture, Workforce analytics, Workforce planning, operating model design, learning and development, HR strategy, Digital Experience and Strategy, change management/communications.
I’ve worked 2 OD positions so far and I’ve rolled out talent management processes (creating quarterly check-in cadences, develop company-wide 360s, calibrating our talent on a 9-box grid), created dashboards for compliance for our performance management training program, did role-profiling analysis - it’s such a big field and it’s a bunch of fun!
Honestly, OD roles are really bound to have lots of writing. It’s something I realized once I took on my most current role. I have to write a lot of communications, draft learning materials, and write white papers for the leadership to understand our initiatives. OD is so interesting and exciting, but I realized that I really don’t like the writing aspect of the role so I’m pivoting to people analytics. Feel free to DM if you have any questions!
That’s specific to human resource transformation or consulting; there also change management, organizational communications, talent-based consulting like operating models or D&I, etc
