401k Roth or traditional 401k?
Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

Took me about 2 months of active looking/applying/talking with recruiters. Interviewed multiple places - so could have gone quicker had I accepted a previous offer
Aimed for accounting supervisor and eventually got it. I expected it to take a month or so, so 2 months was fine. Definitely takes time to find the role and pay match you want (sure you can get “controller” roles but in small companies and will make the same or less than you currently make in public)
Depends on so many things...do you live in a major metro area, are you willing to relocate, willing to take a similar salary or even a pay cut? I recently left with several offers that materialized pretty quickly. I personally know several other people who were in a similar situation. It just depends but hopefully sooner rather than later for you.
Fair points PwC1. Live in MW midsize city, unwilling to relocate, but I’d accept similar salary
Agreed - most just want to place you anywhere so they get paid but there are good ones out there too
