If you’re doing a dcf or financial forecasting M&A model, when you assume the cost synergies of the acquisition, those are just a “one time reduction” that will be carried forward in all future years right? For example, you’re not supposed to have like a 2.5% G&A expense savings that increase every year due to G&A getting larger, it should just be the flat amount that you saved in year 1 of the merger that continues forward.
