So I just recently passed my CPA exams and I’m now looking for new opportunities. I’m hoping to work at a big 4 firm in tax and possibly connect with anyone working there right now. Please reach out to me, I would look forward to connecting and learning more about potential opportunities. Thanks!EY PwC Deloitte KPMG
I am considering getting into consulting and am applying to Big 4 firms like Deloitte, EY, and PwC. I'm finishing my MBA in August 2023 and have done consulting for real clients through school projects, but none in real life. Do you recommend putting these experiences on my resume? If so, should I just list it like any other job under my experiences?
Hey fishes, What's the ideal pay scale for business management analyst role in BIG 4.
I had a interview call scheduled with EY but they called at the last moment and cancelled the interview saying that they can't match the expected CTC. And can only provide CTC 12lkhs.
My current CTC at HSBC is 14 lakhs for 3.9 yoe and i expected 17lkhs.
Is my expected CTC above average?

EY (not EYP) - what is probable SM TC and signon potential for a practice somewhere in healthcare consulting? ….I cant find new enough info to know what current TC packages are looking like since the b4 firms handed out base raises the last few months…most posts I see are several months/years old.

Highly unlikely given the current controversy over the audit profession. Regulators would block it.
A person from PA! Great company. Used to work there in London.
It just simply wouldn’t be possible. You typically cannot consult for companies that you audit (I know there are exceptions, but as a general rule you can’t).
You would have to first separate the consulting arms from the core audit practices.
Sons ago, KPMG was in talks to merge with EY. It was cancelled because they said the cultures were too different or whatever.
Yeah, the cultures are too different. May be possible legally but it wouldn’t quite work in the long run
Are you sure about that? The message I’m hearing is that we all sound the same to the market. What would you say are PwC vs KPMG culture differences for example?
