Peer feedback season here. There's always a question on these forms to list the person's "areas to improve"and for most people it's honestly the only time I ever consider things they're doing wrong. If the question is required I have to think of some BS weakness that's not a big deal, then assume that is getting discussed in the person's evaluation and they're writing up OKRs about it or something. Does this exercise really provide enough useful information to be worth it? How do you handle it?

Worked with a senior a couple years back that recently switched to FDD from audit (internal transfer) — I’m rated a high performer and would like to make the jump and I’m thinking about reaching out to him about the process, does anyone have any advice about how to go about this? I haven’t spoken with this person since we worked together. Thinking of just emailing him and expressing interest and asking how he did it

How many years would it take for a Senior Consultant 2 - Level 42 to get promoter to Senior Consultant 3 and then from Senior Consultant 3 to Manager in EY GDS? I understand that performance and other factors count in but need to understand the general career progression timeline.

We are now over 30 days out, and all OC will tell me is that he requested the settlement draft and will let me know when it arrives. Work is asking me to be in office 1x a week next year. Puppy will be 4 months old and right now I take him out to potty 13x a day. What should I do when I have to work? Work is 20m away from apartment and I can definitely come back at lunch for an hour, but should I just put him in daycare for the day? How do people with kids handle this??

I adopted a dog 2 months ago. She used to love going outside but recently she’s been very reluctant to go (hiding underneath the couch when I say walk or grab the leash, stopping and sitting on the walk). I’m in NYC so it’s getting colder but I bought her jackets which she seems to tolerates, bring high value treats and take her to the dog park on some walks but it doesn’t seem to be helping much. I try not to force her every time but as a result she has been having more accidents. Any advice?
