Happy Project Management Day!!
Hey Googlers, I’m going in for my GCP TAM second round on Monday and had a few QQs for you all:
1. For the RRK2 case study if there is a scenario for handling peak time workloads where the client did a lift & shift of a monolithic architecture, is the best suggestion to move them to micro services to enable serverless and auto scaling features?
2. I was told that they’ll give me 15 mins to prep after the case study is shared live, would you suggest I build a 1 pager or is that not required?Google
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a switch in data science and data analysis.
I have 7+ months of experience in a startup.
Designed and deployed, Planogram for one of the clients by creating an end-to-end pipeline for data loading, feature engineering, and automation through Jenkins
Successfully managed to release the "Sales forecast" project to two clients.
I'm looking for a change. Any help would be appreciated.

I struggle similarly being remote, working with 2 other time zones and expected to manage the technical team for cut over activities with very little experience with the vendor's application. I've basically taken a back seat to keep my stress down, but the guilt of "quitting" on my team is surmounting.
I would talk to a trusted advisor in your company or to a therapist. I'm about to, and that's mostly the recommendation I see from others. Good leaders will want you to be happy so that engagement is high and makes for an efficient team/delivery, so you should be able to voice your issues so they can help. Maybe you need to go to a new project that fits your lifestyle. That's okay, and leaving one that isn't working for another shouldn't be see as quitting.
@A1 thank you. It’s not panic attack level, but just a constant dread and worry of failure. Project is terrible and I just want out of it
That alone is stressful. You have to take care of you.😊 Please consider, you dont want things to get worse.
Dont feel dumb. Speak with your doctor and let them know the Intensity of your daily anxiety and request time off. You can get short term disability for this.
You are def not dumb. And that’s a very normal and common thought- quit. Mind to share what bother you in the project?
Anxiety is a true killer, but it does so one small bit at a time. Find someone to talk with, professional or otherwise, to help you determine whether you have a real problem. The disease of anxiety will cloud your judgment, causing you to misjudge things around you. Keep talking.
@PwC1 basically there is such bad communication and I am remote with no team in my country. I feel like I’m expected to know all this stuff after seeing it once on a call with very little guidance, which is fine to a point (don’t need to be micromanaged) but I’m getting depressed being remote (we don’t even have our own company office)
