Current S1 here. Is it okay if my resume experience is just: B4 Internship > Associate > Senior? (All in the same firm/practice) Never done other internships. Depends. Are you going for an accounting related role (or related to whatever you do now)? Then it’s the gold standard. Are you trying to pivot into the field of horticulture? Then probably pretty lame.

You didn’t do the same responsibilities in all 3 roles tho. Show your clear profession from “do-er” as an intern and associate to senior where you were responsible to oversee others as part of your job. You still supervised someone during those 3 weeks. Let them take exception with the amount of time if needed. Also wouldn’t you have overseen work of the offshore team as an associate, including first reviews etc. Dig deep. Any special projects or particularly challenging areas? High risk areas? Complex areas? Give yourself credit for them.

Resume should be tailored to the job u are applying for. How long ago was B4 internship 3 4 years ago, what did you do there? Is it relevant to job you are seeking ?

If you’re multiple years out of school don’t even put the intern position on - no one is going to care about it and it just takes up space

Are companies looking to hire more minorities and people who identify as LGBTQ+? I saw a post about a job listing for a Big 4 and it said it had a strong preference for people who identify as LGBTQ+ or a minority racial group. Does this mean they have a higher chance of getting the job? Not trying to start any political debates, I’m just generally curious.

So I left B4 risk assurance because I found the work a drag and moved to a boutique place where I was hoping to get a better experience or shape my career the way I want. However, this place isn’t what I was expecting and the project I’m on requires deadly hours and is staff aug. I’m looking to do this for a year and go back to b4 (as I like being in a bubble) but a different service line. How possible is this?

Understandably, there is a bias towards BTC and ETH. While the alt coins are more risky (Link, Cardano, XLM, Matic, loop, etc.) their price is much more reasonable. That’s why I don’t understand why people say “I will only buy BTC and ETH”. That seems short sighted when you can put at least 10% in alt coins and hit it big if they take off. It doesn’t have to be a large allocation yet people are hesitant. This comes from a new crypto investor. Not financial advice.
