Pay off all loans. 4) interview and get a higher salary. That's on the lower end for a Data Scientist.

Happy with the current salary tho.

If interest rates on loans are high pay that. Why do you need 50k in checking? What are your monthly expenses? Need more information.

Even 20-30k is cushy, you don’t need 50k unless you’re saving for something specific. I’d pay off 4.75% for sure, though the debt queens here will yell at me for saying that. If you’re maxing out retirement, anything left can go into the brokerage account.

Pay off cc debt immediately! You should not carry that kind of debt ever with your net worth.

Switching consulting agencies atm. Currently I earn way below average at 42k€/p.a + car. Next week I am negotiating with another company wanting to employ me. I would love something around the market average of 65-75k is it realistic even though I am in my mid 20s?

Hi everyone. I interviewed for a sales role at Amazon. I was told the role was an L6 and I can stay based in Chicago. Well, the recruiter emailed me today saying the hiring team felt I was better suited for an L5 role (estimated total comp is $140K-$150K) and I would have to move to Seattle. They'll send me an offer if that works. Any advice or opinions on how to negotiate? For context, I gave a desired salary range of $280K-$310K since this was an L6 role, and my current TC at P&G is $200K.

I’m 30 years old and have been running my own (small) agency over the past two years, working with local businesses. I’ve got a solid book of client and spec work, with creative ad copy. I’ve also written for Sports Illustrated, so I can write anything from articles to ad copy. Before that, I worked in communications at a few law firms. Now I’m looking to work at an ad agency as a copywriter. Honest question: is it a reach to pursue that? And, if it isn’t a reach, do I apply for entry-level?
