Hi Team, I will be having my panel presentation next week. Any tips? Also the position is for Salesforce.org. Is there much difference and pros/cos you can share? (Eg. lower salary, different benefits, culture….)
Do firms that still have a billable minimum for bonus give the special/covid bonus contingent on you making your hours?
I left my BigLaw job earlier this year to take some time off and/or retire early. I now have an offer from an old colleague, now at a boutique, to write briefs on a contracting basis. We haven’t discussed pay yet—what would be a reasonable hourly rate to ask for?
Has anyone felt that there is a significant difference in salary between an American employee and an international employee (any company, same role)?

Need suggestions and your views. Currently at Manager level in DUSI and just got 33% hike. Currently I am holding an offer from a boutique firm which is offering a much higher executive level and 30% hike over my current salary. But since this firm is pretty small and setting up new operations in India, little hesitant. What do you think fishes ?
Switching consulting agencies atm. Currently I earn way below average at 42k€/p.a + car. Next week I am negotiating with another company wanting to employ me. I am actually bringing in a customer with a fixed 2 year project @ 1000€ all-in/day rate (5 billable days/week). What salary should I aim for - and what bonuses? I would love something around the market average of 65-75k is it realistic even though I am in my mid 20s?
I’m applying for roles as a software development manager in NYC and both tech and finance companies. I have 15 years experience in tech. Not from the US and only moved here last year. Does anyone know the ballpark salary range?

Hi Fishes, Need some help from you! I am an AWS Data Engineer with 8 years of experience, I got same offer in Wipro and CTS with less variable pay in CTS, how can I negotiate with wipro and demand for higher salary? Anyone else’s firm offering to let you expense meals even though we aren’t traveling as a mini retention bonus? I’m putting in notice next month but about to dine like a fiend
Hi everyone. I interviewed for a sales role at Amazon. I was told the role was an L6 and I can stay based in Chicago. Well, the recruiter emailed me today saying the hiring team felt I was better suited for an L5 role (estimated total comp is $140K-$150K) and I would have to move to Seattle. They'll send me an offer if that works. Any advice or opinions on how to negotiate? For context, I gave a desired salary range of $280K-$310K since this was an L6 role, and my current TC at P&G is $200K.
Hey people. I have a question regarding bonus payment! If in case the bonus letters are going to be out on lets say 5th November and I resign on the 6th. Will i get bonus?
Anyone at Deloitte have some insight on the Strategic Communications and Change Management positions for analyst and consultant? What to expect in the final interview? Base salary + bonus? WLB? Asking for a relative! Deloitte
Does anyone have a work culture that prioritizes WLB? Sometimes I feel like it's all talk for branding.
What will you do to celebrate your green card?
Our company has told us we can’t expense dinners delivered when working late at home for tax reasons. Has anyone else encountered this? Is it accurate?
Trying to prepare for a AML audit role in a bank.. What are some typical questions.. Should I just focus on my resume.. Have 4 years experience
If Trump is re-elected, healthcare will be gone and covid will stay for 4 more years causing suicides from depression and more deaths! But don’t worry, it’s all fake news and a hoax!
Anybody working or interviewed at MorganFranklin Consulting? Interviewing for their Senior Consultant role, Strategy and Transformation practice. Looking to get an idea on what kind of work they do and also, what’s their pay range for this role/practice.
If firms go exclusively remote, I have zero reason to remain living near “home office”. Likelihood we’ll shift to that model, and can live wherever?
🐠 at North Highland: interacted with a recruiter today, would love to learn more. Anyone who works there, thoughts on culture, prestige, development experience? Thanks in advance!
Why healthcare agencies only serve big pharmaceutical clients with inyectable or pill products and don’t work with “consumer healthcare” brands like Advil, Tylenol, Aquafresh, Pepito-Bismo, etc?
When your company and your CSR both reimburse you $100 for the Global Entry program and you make out $100 on top.
Today I was officially diagnosed with adult adhd. I can’t begin to explain how relieved I am. It turns out things that I’ve considered personality defects are actually symptoms of this disorder. Interrupting people, saying inappropriate things, swirling on a topic for days: all issues I’ve battled with since childhood and finally have an answer. Mental health is important. Talk to your doctor and do research. You never know what’s going on inside your brain.
Trainee flight attendant asking his colleague: "if everything is computerized, why do we oversell flights?" Valid question, but also made me chuckle..
Giuliani says no Mueller interview, live or written. Their old excuse was that in a live interview Trump would be just unable not to lie. But if they won’t even *write* answers...
I see a lot of discussion around RSU and stock options as part of the comp package. How common is that? I thought it was usually just start ups or tech companies, but I’ve seen a few posts here where large corporations are giving them out
I’m 30 years old and have been running my own (small) agency over the past two years, working with local businesses. I’ve got a solid book of client and spec work, with creative ad copy. I’ve also written for Sports Illustrated, so I can write anything from articles to ad copy. Before that, I worked in communications at a few law firms. Now I’m looking to work at an ad agency as a copywriter. Honest question: is it a reach to pursue that? And, if it isn’t a reach, do I apply for entry-level?
