Current student at a T15 school targeting MBB and Tech Strategy. Have not looked much into the Tech Strategy/Leadership/Rotation programs.

1. Are they more, less or as competitive as MBB?
2. Does someone who doesn’t need sponsorship have a good shot at these roles?
3. What skills do they look for in these jobs?

Would appreciate thoughts from someone who’s had experience recruiting/working these jobs.

I’ve got a friend in Dubai who has experience in IB and VC at junior levels (in London and Dubai) and would like to break into consulting. He’s at a small cap VC at the moment and works not that challenging, and he wants to break into MBB or tier 2 for strategy. Anyone happy to look at his CV?

I am tech guy with almost 3yr exp, but I want to switch to a Management role. Going for an MBA is not possible for me. I was wondering about the possibility to switch to a management role within the next 2 years without an MBA. Company/Brand is not a bar for me.

Feel like I missed the boat years back to get into Director of Product role. Back in the day there was only Senior in between a Director role, now there’s Lead and Group levels, so much hierarchy now.

Need some Advice.. I’m a professional MBA student that was working FT and used an PM internship to transition into the space. I stepped in for an actual PM who was on leave and was doing real work. In august they extended my internship to Nov. Yesterday, They offer me a FT APM role, but it starts July 10 and have to respond by 10/15. Internship still ends in Nov, so no employment for 7 months. I’m not too happy with the offer or the wait. What should I do? I am currently job searching.

Hello, I was in a verbally abusive college relationship and struggled with mental health. Therefore, my gpa suffered greatly (2.9). However, I now have a good job and am doing very well. Should I explain the reason for my low GPA in my MBA app? I’m applying to LBS, Booth, Stanford, UCLA, UCB etc.

One-year versus two-year MBA? I’m trying to stay in the same industry (CPG, not consulting) but increase my comp and seniority. I’m not worried about the internship. Any other downsides I’m not thinking of?

Is it true that I have a realistic shot at HSW coming from Eastern Europe with following stats:
- median undergrad GPA at European non target engineering school but turned around performance in masters
- 700 GMAT but took it while working at McK
+ graduated with distinction in MSc engineering

Is the ETS GRE-GMAT converter accurate? My GMAT is above medians everywhere but I don’t know how much it matters.
