I make 20% less than that at 26. Count your blessings.

Double in 5 years sounds about right
Started at 67 at 23 and making 101+10 now at 27 🙌🙌
I'm 33 making 72. First year of consulting, but still. SMH
Expect your salary to double, as it does try to increase your expenses by no more than 50%. Temptation to overspend is powerful.
You will be 27
Double is right. Started at 75 at PwC, now at Kpmg Lighthouse at 155k 6 years later. Switch twice in 5-6 years each time at 25-30% raise and you will get close.
Yup. The max limit is probably right around $200k but there are several scenarios that could play out leading to 185k after bonus being obtainable
Mid life crisis
Doubled my salary in 4 years from undergrad to today. Gotta be aggressive though - even if that means jumping ship a couple times
Your salary will not double in 5 years. That implies you’ll be making $150k..it’s just simply not going to happen unless you go get an MBA or jump ship to another firm after 4 years. Realistically, expect 3-5% raises on non promo years and 7-10% on promo years.
S1, that would take A1->SA1 and at least a 2 bonus as an SA1. That might happen once in every five classes of associates. Doubling every five years is more reasonable.
62k to 120k + 15k bonus after 4 years. I never switched companies but did get an outside offer and accepted a counter from my firm. People always say not to accept counters but it has worked out fine for me thus far
But yes... you need to at least look outside to get paid. External offer was for 150k TC but I like my current company so I was fine with not getting a full match.

31 making 400
Are these numbers total comp or base?
If OP picks up a top ten MBA in the next 5 years, double is entirely reasonable. 155 to 165, plus moderate (10 to 20) bonus is market (plus tuition reimbursement, depending on firm)
Depends on if you join a new company or stay at the same one for five years
A1, Early on in your career you can get promoted every two years and leave. After manager it is likely slow but you should have two promos in five years. Of course it isn't straightforward but your pay keeps increasing nevertheless and pay vs title is a talk for another day.
