We pay new hires over 100K TC.
But I’d want to see you stay longer than a year unless there was a fit or work content issue.
Im planning to stay longer than a year, this current company just isnt a good fit for me.

EY1 may be able to provide more accuracy, but Staff II should be around $90k base from what I understand

If you do implementation consulting but only have 1YOE, which from my honest experience consists of half the time on the bench and the other half maybe doing some grunt work. I wouldn’t put you on par of a 120k consultant. My opinion as a cloud implementation manager/hiring manager.
I’m pretty sure you’re the same person from a few months ago, and my answer still hasn’t changed. Stop chasing money less than a year in, learn, you’ll do much better later on.
Youre input it appreciated. But i am chasing the money tbh, a jobs a job and I believe at 1 YOE thats what my market value would consist of. It is me, nice to see you well and healthy.
learn cloud really well
build complex stuff using terraform
automate the maintenance using python
Is it you again? Hey Google
I’m sure you do want $120K, but what do you plan to bring to the table?
Did you realize this person wants a 50% base increase after 1 year of work.
After 5 years their pay would be 500k and after 10.years they would make about 3M
Not saying that this person's expectations may be hard to meet
Probably MBB, SWE, or get promoted by working your ass off. Usually the next band will be in 120k range if you start at 85k
Not trying to burst your bubble, but that will be quite tough. With only 1YOE, you will need some outstanding experience to talk to and convince your interviewers that you are ready for that level. Remember that they will be basing everything off your word and often times they aren’t willing to place that bet

And what qualifications do you have for a 50% base raise with just 1 YoE?
Chief
We’re basically always hiring
Most firms in HCOL will pay 120k by year 2 or 3
My firm pays 100k at 2 YOE and thats only if you get promoted which is why im looking elsewhere
I’m in exactly the same shoes. Hit my 1 year in may and then am hunting for 130k. Once I get to a decent wage I’m fine with settling in for a little bit but 85k isn’t cutting it here in miami.
Everyone I’ve talked to says to get good referrals and wait until you have a year. I personally have been working on the soft skills like presenting or being a good team lead because the technical stuff is pretty easy to pick up. I’m also trying to get into strategy
